16-year-old Sinead Holdsworth is studying for her A-Levels at Holy Cross College. We talked with her, in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, about Stephen Fry, Lord Of The Rings and her eclectic music taste.

What are your plans for today?
Get a present for my brother.His birthday is today and I have like two hours to find something.

What are you studying at the moment?
Maths, art, and graphics at Holy Cross College

What are you listening to at the moment?
Rap like Run The Jewels, Open Mic Eagle, all the good ones. Death Grips but he’s a bit heavy, he’s for when I’m revising.
I listen to death metal, a bit of Dethklok.
Some jazz, Kamasi Washington and BadBadNotGood.

What are you reading at the moment?
I’m reading the bestiary on Lord Of The Rings. So it’s got all the characters and animals in it and loads of facts about them. Plus all the Elven names that I still cannot fully pronounce.

What are you watching at the moment?
Black Mirror

What would constitute a perfect day for you?
Relaxing and playing video games

For what, in life, do you feel most grateful for?
My mum and how much money she gives me, just a whole lotta money.

I avoid public transport like the black plague and I just walk everywhere.

Who inspires you and why?
Steven Fry, how he was a misfit up until year nine and in year ten he got his shit together and got A grades.
