This group for adult mental health service users in the West Midlands aims to boost wellbeing and build community through artistic ventures. Professional writers work with participants on creative writing of poetry and prose, while expressive arts such as drawing, painting, felting, and ceramics are also offered. The group has a history of community engagement, publishing a quarterly literary anthology sold in local cafes as well as hosting art exhibitions. The group is open to individuals with mental health issues, older people isolated from their community, or anyone who feels they may benefit from joining an arts group. Participants can self refer to the group or accept referrals from a healthcare professional.
