The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership provide regular cooking courses for community members teaching kitchen skills, healthy eating, and budgeting. The popular ‘Cooking on a Budget’ course sees a group of passionate cooks share their tips and recipes for healthy, satisfying meals that can be made at low cost. From curries and chillis to risottos and soups, the group uses store cupboard essentials to create delicious dishes with plenty of leftovers. Each session includes a shared meal. Participants must be in receipt of a means tested benefit or on a low income.
