Sew Cool
Craft club led by two self-claimed ‘sewing addicts.’ Members meet once a week to work on their projects in a friendly atmosphere. Even though this is not a teaching class, everyone is welcome to swap ideas and you can count on some helpful advice.
Chatter and Natter
Part of the national Chatty Cafe scheme, this volunteer group invites the local community within Chester to visit the Storyhouse cafe for a cup of tea and conversation. Whether it’s a quick five minutes or an hour of talking, this scheme aims to combat loneliness and positively impact everyday life.
The Friday Uplift Group
This friendly group meet each week to share problems, encourage solutions, and discover how to thrive and maintain wellbeing in what can often be a stressful world. The group is peer led and aims to build confidence and promote health and wellbeing amongst members. A community learning tutor and local community mentor are always on hand to guide discussion.
