For Time To Talk Day we’ve created a special Head Count series asking Arriva North West commuters how they feel from 0-5, to show we all have mental health and our own ways of staying well.

Here’s our interview with Chris, 22 from Oxford. Chris is studying Sound Tech at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.

Hello Chris, how are you feeling today from 0 to 5?

I’m a 3, because of stress. It’s coming up to final year. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not final – probably 3 or 4 more years. But at the moment, stress…

Where are you travelling to?

The coffee shop 92 Degrees, to do a bit of work.

What do you do to stay mentally well?

I work out and eat healthy. I also like to switch things up. I like to do work outside of the house or outside of university, just to change the scenery. Keep things going on.

Could you recommend us a book, film or band?

Jordan Peterson’s ‘12 Rules of Life: An Antidote to Chaos.’ It’s a good book that gives you anecdotal advice; how to hold yourself, how to cope with things, how to get over things.
