For Time To Talk Day we’ve created a special Head Count series asking Arriva North West commuters how they feel from 0-5, to show we all have mental health and our own ways of staying well.

Here’s our interview with Melissa, 21 from Luton. Melissa is studying Evolutionary Anthropology at The University of Liverpool.

Hello Melissa, how are you feeling today from 0 to 5?

A 3.

Where are you travelling to?

Uni, I’ve got an exam now.

What do you do to stay mentally well?

I just treat myself with some nice food, small rewards, like great things each day.

Could you recommend us a book, film or band?

A book I’d recommend is ‘Stoner’ by John Williams. It’s just a really good book about a man’s life. Nothing significant happens in it, but it’s about why his life is important anyway.
