What are you working on at the moment?

I’m working on a lot of new music and visuals. I’m hoping to be going back on tour soon, so I have a lot of great things on the way!

What has been your biggest life challenge so far and what did you do to overcome it?

My biggest life challenge so far has been to get where I am today. The key to overcoming is to make sure that you have a strong group of people that you can rely on for emotional support, and to work everyday on achieving the goals that you set out for yourself.

What would constitute a ‘perfect’ day for you?

A perfect day for me is any day I’m able to create freely and have good food, good vibes, and water.

What are you listening to, reading and watching at the moment?

I’ve been traveling a lot recently, so I haven’t been able to watch anything consistently. I have been listening to a bunch of different music, but recently, it’s been ILoveMakonnen’s new EP M3.

For what in your life do you feel most grateful?

I am most grateful that I have the opportunity to make music to share it with the world, and have people who listen to it and message me that my music helps them through hard times.

Complete this sentence: “Ace mental health for me means…”

Ace mental health for me means that I am in tune with my emotions.

If I am able to properly gauge how I’m feeling, I know that I have people that I can reach out to if I’m feeling low, or I can spread positivity if I am feeling well.

What do you eat to stay healthy?

I’m getting better at eating healthier, I’ve been eating more salads recently. I have been considering going vegan, but I have not made the commitment yet. I’ve been working on better portion control so I can still eat the food I enjoy.

Do you have a daily routine of exercise or do you make it up as you go along?

For the past few weeks, I’ve been pushing myself to do 100 push-ups a day and I started running recently.

Do you have any cool childhood memories?

I used to surf a lot growing up so I have a bunch of great memories playing outside and being care-free.

What three songs lift your spirits?

Blood Brothers – Bombshell Rocks, Santeria – Sublime, Beach in Hawaii – Ziggy Marley

What is your favourite self-help book, or motivational quote?

My favorite motivational quote is “follow your dreams no matter what.” I think it’s important because it is super easy to doubt yourself, but if you believe in something hard enough, you will work to make those dreams reality. Everyone has their dreams, and everyone has the ability to achieve them.

What advice do you offer to friends when they are feeling overwhelmed?

When someone is feeling overwhelmed, I tell them to take a step back and take a deep breathe. When you’re overwhelmed it’s important to calm your mind first, then you can start to process the situation one step at a time.
