Fiona is student president at LJMU and now a Mental Health First Aider after completing our Two Day Adult Mental Health First Aid course.
On completing the course, Fiona said: “I wanted to gain a little more knowledge on how to support people experiencing poor mental health. University is a massive change for students and can lead to stress, loneliness and depression. Time management is a huge issue as students are managing studying with work, relationships and their studies.
“I’d recommend the course to students and staff so they can identify stresses in their peers.”
